Tucked away in North Sydney, this quietly welcoming cafe offers a relaxed spot for those after a calm breakfast or midday coffee break. The menu leans into thoughtful, approachable dishes like smashed avocado, halloumi and mushroom bagels, and a variety of breakfast stacks that pair well with expertly made lattes, long blacks, or a refreshing matcha latte. The setting feels casual and cosy, with a sunlit courtyard offering leafy outdoor seating that's especially inviting for those with dogs or looking to enjoy some fresh air. Inside, it’s comfortably arranged for solo diners and people working on laptops, lending itself well to university students and locals who appreciate a calm, unhurried environment. Accessibility is thoughtfully considered, with wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating.
Visitors often come here for breakfast or brunch, sometimes lingering over coffee or grabbing a takeaway on the go. The friendly staff create a welcoming vibe that encourages repeat visits, and while the place suits families and groups, it also accommodates those who just want a quiet spot to focus or unwind. "Best coffee and croissants in the area! service is always super friendly"
"The staff seemed brand new but happened to give my food late."
"Pretty chilled place and decent prices for breakfast."
5 Lovely little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside in the courtyard as we had our dog with us. Service was quick with water and menus delivered to our table almost as soon as we sat down. We ordered chilli scramble and the haloumi and eggs stack. Both were delicious and very filling. There were many more items I'd like to try, so we'll definitely be back.
4 I have been a regular for 4years. Coffee always so good, most I love is the Cookie comes with coffee Staffs are always generous , nice , even when money wasnt enough to pay , one of staffs said bring it next time in a kind way. I love to come every morning , addicted But, tbh, iced coffee $7 too expensive
5 One of my favourite cafes near Cammeray. The staff are lovely and attentive over and above the great coffee and food on offer. Their breakfast burger is a must have! Regularly come here to eat in on the weekends, or get a take away if I need to rush off. A great place for a coffee after North Sydney parkrun, or if you’re on the way to the Victoria Cross metro. Thanks Ping and team!
5 Great matcha latte and the super bowl was sooo good. Me and my colleague both enjoyed it, and the staff was friendly too.
5 The library has to be the best spot for breakfast in Sydney. The food was amazing and so delicious. The Mocha wow over the moon! There is a lovely courtyard you can sit in the back with beautiful plants. I would highly recommend The Library. Thank you so much for an amazing brunch we will definitely be back!
5 Saved in my 'Want to Go' list for ages and finally had the chance to visit. My coffee was excellent and the courtyard was cozy and perfect on a cool, early morning
5 A great little spot in North Sydney, maybe the best breakfast place in Sydney, the big breakfast was delicious. The portions were generous for each dish especially açai bowl compared to other places. Staff were extremely friendly. Will be visiting again.
Popular picks include the Latte, Halloumi & Mushroom Bagel, and the breakfast burger. Their coffee and matcha latte also get great reviews.
You can grab a quick takeaway or enjoy a relaxed sit-down breakfast or lunch in their cosy indoor or outdoor seating areas.
Weekends are popular for brunch, but weekdays offer a calmer atmosphere, especially in the morning.
Yes, dogs are welcome in the courtyard, and it’s a comfortable spot for solo dining or working on your laptop.
It’s family-friendly with kid-friendly options, and features wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating.
